Desktop Support Technician required to join a growing and highly progressive IT outsourcing company.

The role of the Desktop Support Technician will involve working on one my client's customer sites who are based in central Aberdeen. You will be sole desktop support representative with the site having around 100 desktop users. The role will include supporting all desktop systems, which will be a mixture of Windows 7 & 8, account creation within Active directory, any networking support where required along with general PC issues. You will also be heavily involved in any of the ongoing IT related projects.

The correct individual for the role will have at least 18 months commercial experience within IT support and if possible have some industry recognised qualifications.

You will have good experience within:

* Desktop support of Windows 7 and or Windows 8

* Experience of Active Directory

* Experience of Exchange

* Some knowledge and experience within networking

* Some knowledge or experience within Server 2008 / 2012

* Experience of giving remote, telephone or face to face support

* Experience of PC builds / installations / rebuilds

As you will be dealing with end users on a daily basis your communication skills, both written and verbal must be very strong.
