My globally know client based just outside of Glasgow is looking for a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join their existing team. You will be joining during an exciting period of international growth for the client and help shape the IT functions within the company in a senior capacity. The ideal person for this position would be an enthusiastic individual who is technically focused with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to direct the IT services.
You will be working as one of the most senior member of the team to enhance and evolve the existing technologies, support the growing user base and facilitate an efficient IT Infrastructure and support function.
The key skills required for this position are:
* Experience in a 2nd/3rd line function.
* A minimum of 3 years experience in Microsoft Desktop support - XP & Windows 7.
* A minimum of 3 Years experience in Microsoft Server technologies - Server 2008 & 2012.
* Previous experience in 1st and 2nd line support is essential.
* VMware vSphere 5.5 experience.
* Active Directory - Group policy and Administration.
* Citrix Xenapp6.5.
* Microsoft Office 2010+.
* McAfee experience.
* Experience supporting Cisco switches, routers and wireless.
* Disk to disk backup experience.
* San Experience - preferably Dell Equallogic.
The following skills will be highly beneficial:
* Avaya phone system experience.
* Office 365 support.
* Solarwinds.
