Background:

Transport for London’s Freight and Fleet team has an ambitious and wide ranging remit - to make deliveries in the capital by road, rail and river safer, more efficient and more sustainable. We deliver a diverse range of projects and initiatives, but all rely on developing innovative solutions to complex problems, and on developing new ways to work with businesses, their supply chains and those who regulate their activity. A key part of our work is to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders, and communicate effectively to build awareness and influence behavioural change.

To ensure that London remains a global leader in meeting these challenges, we are growing our team. Our aim is to build a trans-disciplinary team of specialists with experience from a wide range of environments. We value transferable skills, rather than a defined career background. So, even if you’ve never worked in transport planning, logistics or a related discipline before, but think you could help solve challenging, real-life problems, and deliver complex projects which have a tangible impact on the lives of Londoners, we would like to hear from you.
