Technical Project Manager to work in a team based out of its site in Bristol. The Technical Project Manager will lead a project team focusing on the design, implementation and support of secure IT systems. You will lead the technical team to ensure projects are delivered effectively, on time and budget, troubleshooting and managing project issues throughout. Working with stakeholders across the business, from Engineers to Board Members, the Technical Project Manager will be accountable for the progress of IT Security Solutions projects.

Due to the technical nature of this position, candidates must have a strong IT background, including IT Security and Infrastructure, prior to working as a Project Manager. CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR DV SECURITY CLEARANCE - you must have lived in the UK for a least 10 years and hold a British Passport.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge required of the Technical Project Manager

* A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computing or similar

* APM, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent

* Knowledge of Information Security and Assurance procedures

* Understanding of the software development lifecycle

* A strong background in IT (ideally Infrastructure and IT Security focused)

* Experience managing projects and people

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Ability to undergo DV Clearance - you must have lived in the UK for a least 10 years and hold a British Passport. Ideally you will currently hold some security clearance.

This is a challenging position in a fast paced, large project environment, ideal for someone with a strong IT security background who is looking to progress their Project Manager career. Paying up to £55,000 + benefits, based in Bristol.
