Project Manager

The Opportunity:

An incredible, exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to build the European Head Quarters of a large conglomerate that is starting a new consultancy brand, in central London. The project is being developed with an internal Steering Group (SG) acting as the Client Representative. The project team has been appointed and involves various sister companies of the organisation.

The candidate will be at the centre of a collaborative working environment and team to develop a high profile building of 200,000 sqft that is integral to the development and expansion of the organisation.

This is an urgent requirement for a full time Project Manager and following completion of the project the individual has the opportunity to work elsewhere within the organisation Project Management Group to support the development of the expanding team based in London.

Essential experience:

* Experience in providing professional and technical expertise across the complete development spectrum from planning to occupation

* The PM needs to be the focus for managing and consolidating all the internal communication and information to support decision making

* In addition to the project team the Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the client requirements and liaising with directly appointed advisors including property, legal, finance and IT

* Experience in commercial office development would be preferable along with strong technical skills and initiative

* Reporting line will be to the Steering Group and Head of Programme and Project Management

Required attributes:

* We are looking for an energetic but experienced Project Manager who will be comfortable directing and working with the project team. The project will provide the environment and experience to act on behalf of the client and to play an integral role with sister companies to support our group collaboration.

* Ability to communicate at a senior level and work within a team environment is fundamental

* Skills in programming, project administration and commercial are required along with the ability to analyse and present information to the SG and other senior personnel
