Whilst this role is primarily a Voice / Trader Voice Engineer role around 80% of the time it is multi dimensional and will give the engineer the opportunity to also be hands on with Networking / Routing & Switching technologies as well (20% of the time) so is ideal for an engineer who wants to maintain and further develop a broader technical skill set. The role will also include some engineering, change and implementation project work as well as operational standards and risk assessments. Other Desirable skills/experience: - IPC IQ/MAs Digital Turret System and associated profiles (Trading Voice Technologies) - SIP, H.323 and other protocols with ability to perform packet captures/analysis - Ideally Investment Banking/Financial Services experience (must be enterprise) Experience working in an Investment Bank and with Trader Voice technologies is preferable, however a background in a high availability, urgency driven Enterprise environment is also applicable - eg. it is important for the engineer to be able to excel during major outages and be able to face off to business and technical stakeholders within the business for projects and deployments. This is a fantastic opportunity for a voice and networking professional to help shape and optimise the technology infrastructure in a global investment bank, while also getting invaluable exposure and experience across the bank.
