An exciting new role has arisen for a leading retail bank who are looking for an experienced UAT tester. It's a 3 month rolling contract with brilliant pay for the individual that meets the criteria of the role.

The role

Manage and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Basel III Liquidity for Retail Deposits.

What the Role will consist of?

* Recording results with evidence, and any defects found in ALM.(Quality Centre).

* Analysing and updating defects, and escalating where appropriate.

* Retesting any defects identified.

* Communicating issues and providing updates to the Test Manager and Business Stakeholders.

* Documenting Business Processes and Business Workarounds, where applicable.

* Ad hoc reporting on testing.

* Able to deputise for the Test Manager at Defect calls

* What criteria is needed?

* SQL skills.in writing complex queries is a MUST HAVE

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g.; Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).

* Previous experience in a Treasury / Retail Deposit data project would be advantageous.

* Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

* Ability to analyse the impact to Business reporting and to consider and recommend solutions to Business stakeholders and Developers

* Experience in testing large volume of data in a Finance / Treasury environment
