We are currently recruiting for our NHS client and experienced Voice & Data Engineer.

Investigating and diagnosing complex Voice and Network problems, working and training with Users, Other Staff and Suppliers as appropriate. Ensuring that account is taken of agreed levels of service and the needs for quality, security, availability and safety.

Initiate action to maintain or improve levels of service, escalating issues to higher levels of management, or maintainers Logicalis as required.

To provide support for the voice and data network and assist the Voice & Data Network Manager. To install, supervise and monitor the organisational

needs and use of Local Area, Wide Area and Telecommunications Networks. Duties also include the day to day management of all accessible LANs and

Telecommunications links. To provide a technical lead to the Network team and be the key technical lead in new projects and implementations.

To provide expert in-house support and on complexed IPT problems and acting as a third level of escalation for service desk faults.

To liaise closely with partners and external organisations to manage customer interfaces and exchange technical information for integration of

services

To manage network problem resolutions internally and escalation to outside suppliers where appropriate.

Ensure procedures and documentation are followed to manage, safeguard and support a secure environment

To implement Call Manager, Unity Voicemail backups, and disaster recovery procedures and maintain a robust and secure network environment for all

systems.

To develop and implement new procedures where necessary, to ensure smooth running of the service

To monitor the requirement for hardware upgrades and report on network bandwidth and future capacity requirements.

To ensure guidelines, procedures and documentation are followed.

To prepare reports and undertake technical projects as required.

To evaluate new technology developments, including the recommending of new technologies to the customer organisations.

To manage the maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of network technical devices

To analyse risk to sensitive data and business critical systems maintained by ICT Networks and make proposals to ensure that backup, security and

disaster recovery procedures are appropriate and adequate.

To produce and maintain a folder of system documentation relating, but not limited, to routers, switches, servers and other networked applications.

To ensure suitable use of equipment and that NHS security standards are adhered to.

To participate in systems implementation projects and to be responsible for the configuration of End User systems.

To analyse system performance reports and carry out root cause analyses and recommend corrective/improvement action.

In accordance with agreed procedures, monitor network operating systems by regular scrutiny of reports from the applications software, systems

software or service delivery staff. Note problems and identify performance trends. Takes corrective action to improve performance and to avoid

problems arising.

Assist in the solving of business problems by providing detailed personal advice and guidance to all levels of users in the expert use of systems,

products and services available to them; demonstrates ingenuity in applying knowledge to complex and non-standard situations.

To be responsible for project plans, proposals and briefing papers for decision making by senior management and project boards.

To engage with customers on new projects and to implement projects using Prince2 methodology including project start-up, management and allocation of

resource, development of work programmes and negotiation of timescales .

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Cisco Unified Contact Centre Enterprise or Express (CUCCECUCCX)

To provide technical support, maintenance and development of the organisations Contact Centre Infrastructure by:

Performing Call Flow Design in visio and icm script editing, and troubleshooting

IPCC IVR Script programming with CUCM Peripheral Gateway associations

IPCC IVR Verbiage Prompt recordings in accordance with ICM Script programming

Network VRU scripting

Support, Design and configure CUCCE Agents, Skillgroup Component configurations

Support Design and configure Cisco Agent Desktop clients and services

Support Design and configure Cisco IP Phone Agent clients and services for voice only GP led practices.

Support Supervisor Desktop clients with use of Cisco Agent Administrator

Complete roll out projects involving the above, including training clients use on the integrated systems

Deal and lead with all CUCCEX related calls in QSM

Cisco Switching Routing

Configuring switchports for Data and Voice vlan access.

Switchport port security unlocking "remove sticky"

Maintain IP address management, DHCP comms

Troubleshooting Data connectivity issues,

EIGRP routing issues,

Vlan configuration

Run Network bandwidth and capacity reports

Use of SNMP software to sniff traffic and deal with complexed networking issues.
