Responsibilities

* Leadership of a Scrum team, facilitating self-organisation to enable the successful delivery of large scale digital projects fulfilling user-centric needs in line with client requirements, taking guidance from and working collaboratively with the Delivery Manager.

* High level client relationship management, ensuring the continued development of relationships for future interests.

* Proactive use and application of exemplary existing industry knowledge to promote continuous improvement and delivery of Agile best practices.

* Effective leadership of Scrum ceremonies, identifying potential blockers and removing them to accelerate progress and to allow the reporting and project tracking to be timely and efficient.

* Taking a consultative approach and using imagination to inspire your team.

Requirements

* A minimum of two years' demonstrable experience within a Scrum Master position.

* Excellent knowledge of software development processes, as well as Agile software testing techniques, including TDD and BDD.

* Interest in and knowledge of XP and Lean practices.

* Scrum Master Certification.

* Demonstrable experience of the successful leadership of large-scale Agile transformation pieces,

* Evidence of the promotion of continued improvements within Agile teams.

* A passion for learning more about Agile as well as a hunger to keep up to date with new management tools and techniques to facilitate yourself, your team and to enable project success.

* Desire to actively contribute to the Agile community via innovative methods such as thought leadership events and blogging.

* Experience working with distributed Scrum teams, as well as complex environments and inter-dependent teams, with the ability to use innovative techniques to bring the best out in all team members.

* Desire to travel to client sites within the UK up to 5 days per week.

* Resilience, tenacity and drive to achieve results in line with client and user requirements
