Java Developer / ActivePivot / Contract / London / £500-£650pd

My client a well respect investment bank based in central London to work on a strategic Market Risk IT project to consolidate asset classes into a single consolidated platform. They're looking for a couple of strong Java developers to join their growing team based in central London.

What the role will entail:

You will focus on development of in-memory data cube technology based on the 3rd party ActivePivot platform. The system was deployed into production last year for a single asset class and further development is planned around migration of remaining asset classes and implementation of core Market Risk calculations such as ERC, VaR and backtesting.

You will be working in a small talented team as part of a broader project. The team you will work in look to develop according to good practices and are always keen to improve. Our target candidate will be delivery focused, have a passion for technology and will enjoy offering new ideas and approaches The candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding users. The successful candidate will gain excellent exposure to the business area and products as well as the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, delivery focused environment. Tech Skill set:
