C++ Developer / C++ Software Engineer (STL Boost C++ UNIX Multi-threading R&D). Global financial institution is seeking a skilled C++ Developer to design and develop complex real-time trading applications. As financial experience is not required, this is a rare opportunity to break into this highly competitive industry at a world renowned firm and gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems.

This is a client-facing C++ Developer role, where you will liaise closely with large global players throughout the financial industry to understand their requirements and transform them into elegant solutions. You will be joining a talented R&D team, using cutting-edge technologies across the full development lifecycle.

Requirements:

                                                                       Strong C++ developer / software engineer with experience of real-time, multi-threading ideally on a UNIX / Linux platform

                                                                       Experience with Boost libraries, including but not limited to, boost::shared_ptr; boost::asio; boost::optional; boost::lexical_cast and boost::thread

                                                                       Thorough understanding of STL, Design Patterns, Object Orientated design

                                                                       You must have excellent communication skills and business acumen, naturally bright with a strong education (2.1 or above at BSc)

                                                                       Desirable: exposure to low latency transport environments, ACE, exposure to market data platforms / feeds
