Senior/ Principal Product Assurance Engineer - Radar, Antenna

Based in Edinburgh the Senior / Principal Product Assurance Engineer will work within the AESA Fire Control Quality Assurance Team and report directly to the Line of Business Project Assurance Manager.

The Senior / Principal Product Assurance Engineer will be engaged in the assurance and delivery of CAPTOR-E programme and be responsible for the following

*Product specification requirement is being achieved

*Failure Review Board attendance

*Ability to identify quality requirements and translate them into a Contract Assurance Plan or a Product Assurance Plan

*Product Assurance input into Configuration Management process

*Non-Conformance Management

*BMS Process and Project Surveillance Auditing

*Assurance support to system integration and test in the roof lab

*Release of product

To be successful in this role the Senior / Principal Product Assurance Engineer will have the following skills and experience

*Ability to interpret contractual and product specifications

*Understanding of the Quality input into Failure Review Boards and the Return to Vendor process

*Ability to produce Quality Plans

*Understanding of As Built to As Required build standard

*Understanding of the containment, root cause analysis, and preventive action process for non-conformance management

*Excellent communication skills

*A degree in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience in a Quality Assurance environment is preferable

*Knowledge of QA systems and non-conformance databases would be advantageous
