A Market Leading, Global IT Services organisation operating in a variety of highly advanced sectors is looking for an Application Support and Development Team Lead with experience in managing the technical software delivery, leadership of the development team and development of software solutions to work on a permanent basis in their new offices in central Glasgow.

Haven gone through a period of acquisition this role will involve managing a Software Development team through the integration of Business Processes, Organisational Structure Change and establishing a cohesive Service Delivery process.

As a dynamic Software Development Team Lead for Engineers in Glasgow you will provide Line Management and supporting the Matrix Manager in ensuring the right engineering skills mix and capacity to deliver bids and projects is available.

The successful Application Support and Development Team Lead will have the following experience:

* Leadership/Management of software engineering teams up to 20 people

* Leading the Software Delivery and Testing on projects ranging from £100k to £5m

* Knowledge of Agile Development methodology, with exposure to implementing the framework

* Knowledge of Development Management tools, such as JIRA and TFS

* Knowledge of modern technologies such as SOA, web technologies (including HTML5), Microsoft .NET, Java, business intelligence and large scale databases.

Experience of software support would also be advantageous
