I am currently helping a global communications and telecoms company who are looking for a technical project manager/CTO. This exciting new role will allow the individual to get in at the beginning of various enterprises with the opportunity to make an impact on the business.

You will oversee the delivery of software development, technical roll outs and other projects to ensure they are completed to a high standard, within budget and as per the agreed timeframes.

Responsibilities will include:

* Agreeing project objectives.

* Providing technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration teams from definition phase through to implementation.

* Applying significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service delivery.

* Structuring the development teams, allocating tasks accordingly and overseeing progress.

* Ensuring that the aims and quality standards of the projects are met within given timeframes.

* Identifying system deficiencies and implementing effective solutions.

* Using company applications to keep track of people and progress.

* Creating and executing development plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

* Keeping managers informed of the development status of each project and serving as a liaison between development staff and the management team.

* Knowledge of web based application development languages.
