Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Glasgow

Contract length: 3+ months

Start: ASAP

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large organisation of a national scale who are considered as an industry leader. It's working on an initial three month contract with scope for this to extend further too.

Key Skills and Experience:

- Experience of Transact SQL

- Understanding of the SQL Server architecture

- Experience working with key technologies in MS BI and SQL stack including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS

- Design and develop data applications in an ordered and formal way, including testing and documentation

- Proven ability to work as a team member, communicating effectively and maintaining good relationships with colleagues and clients

- Good communication and customer facing skills

- Creating and updating Technical documentation

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- An understanding of troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimisation of ETL packages

- Agile development practices
