Migration Architect

Location: London

Duration: 4 Months

Rate: £400-£450 per day

Data Migration / Application Development / Testing / Batch / Data Provision / Cutover / Infrastructure Delivery / z/os / batch / cics / db2 / vsam / Unix / Linux / Windows

Role Information:

* The client is looking for a Migration Architect for a 4 month initial engagement with a Financial Service client in London.

* The client are migrating and testing applications that run across a wide range of technologies are require candidates with broad technical experience rather than a deep focus on some technologies.

Required Skills:

* An expertise and proven background with migration and testing is essential for this role.

* Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of a variety of mainframe technologies such as z/os, batch, cics, db2 and vsam.

* Also experience across multiple Unix/Linux Platforms and Windows.

* A working knowledge of how applications are deployed and tested on the above platforms would also be required.

* Knowledge of Retail Banking systems/applications would also be beneficial.

Client Information:

* Our client is a large blue-chip IT outsourcing organisation, this role would be working on site for one of their Financial Services Clients in London.
