Market Data Analyst - Investment Management

Market Data Analyst required to join a top Investment Management firm based in Edinburgh. The Market Data Analyst will be responsible for cross checking, verifying and updating financial data used for the firm's research, as well as maintaining internal documentation. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and best practices in security valuation, compliance, and other operational areas key to continued success.

Market Data Analyst Required Experience:

* Experience within the Investment Management or Asset Management space.

* Experience setting up securities, fund data, sourcing data and with industry settings.

* Strong data manipulation skills - ability to handle and process large data sets.

* Strong asset management financial product knowledge.

* Experience in analysing and manipulating market data from Bloomberg.

* Experience in using Benchmark, Rimes or Factset.

* SQL querying experience.

* Proven ability to plan and execute projects, communicate goals and progress.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Excellent benefits package
