Desktop Support / Under 10yrs Experience / Central London / £150-£250pd

I am currently looking for a fairly junior candidate with under 10 years' worth of work experience who has been working within the financial services space in a 2nd line Desktop Support Analyst role. My client is a market leading hedge fund, so ideally you will have a background working within the finance arena working with Windows 7 support and worked you way up from a 1st Line Desktop role into a 2nd Line Desktop and now looking for a shot in the future at 3rd line desktop work.

Successful candidates will have a track record of installing/deploying and troubleshooting with Windows 7. Experience building out new IT office locations. Working with remote devices and supporting them, such as laptops, Blackberries, iPhones and RSA. You will be supporting the market data applications so any knowledge around Bloomberg is advantageous.

The character type they're looking so is someone fairly junior who is working in a 2nd line support role who takes pride in their work and have good attention to detail. Have an ability to learn and take on new projects and work outside of their comfort zone.

They're offering an initial 3 month rolling contract paying between £150-£250pd. They want to take someone as soon as possible but will wait up to 4 weeks for the ideal candidate. If you're interested please email me your up to date CV.
