Senior IT Project Manager

£65 000 + Competitive benefits package

The Market leading Retail client that I am working with is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to be based in Putney. The client are beginning some very exciting projects and this is your opportunity to join at the right time! Candidates who apply must have experience is various complex IT Projects and Stakeholder Management is key.

Overall purpose

* To be responsible for steering, leading, and/or controlling one or more complex business projects to a successful completion including business benefit delivery, on-schedule and on-budget.

* To ensure the quality of services offered by the Project department.

* To give input to all PMO requirements for the business, proposing and implementing change as appropriate taking into context the wider IT strategy and suggesting improvements where appropriate

* To support the communication of this strategy to colleagues and team members to develop understanding and acceptance, including MDs, RDs, HoF and Director level as appropriate.

* To demonstrate and encourage behaviours that foster the companys values of Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity & Family

Previous Experience/qualifications required

* Experience in :-

* Project Managing large complex projects to a successful conclusion (on time, on budget, business benefits delivered)

* Resolving issues and managing risks

* Project Managing IT system implementations.

* Facilities, process and change management

* Tracking and realisation of business benefits

* Working with senior management

* Standard Project Management concepts and processes

* Qualification in PRINCE 2 - plus APM or PMP

* Project management tools, including but not limited to: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and Visio.
