One of the UK's leading main contractors, is looking to recruit a driven and ambitious Section Manager for a large project in central London.

This top 5 national construction company are seeking a dynamic construction management professional to oversee a portion of a high-profile flagship scheme in Central London. They are looking for someone with an ambition to develop a career with one of the country's leading contractors who are well placed to offer extensive training and the opportunity to work on some of the highest calibre projects in the capital.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience with a similar top tier main contractor and will have a track record of assisting in the delivery of education, commercial, residential or healthcare projects on programme and within budget.

Typical responsibilities will include:

* Day to day management of site activities

* Management of sub-contractors and trades

* Daily tool-box talks

* Overall responsibility for implementation of company Health & Safety procedures

* Preparation of site reports

* Checking of design drawings

* Maintenance of quality control procedures

* Liaison with clients and sub-contractors

Required experience:

* At least 2 years working with a top tier main contractor

* Professional qualification in construction management or similar

* Demonstrable track-record of section/package management

* Ability to display a passion for professional development and career progression

* Strong ability to communicate at a variety of levels

In return, my client is willing to offer a generous remuneration package that will include a basic salary of up to £35,000 plus a company car or car allowance, private healthcare, pension contribution and a host of other benefits.
