Automation Software Tester - (Banking, Selenium, IDE, QTP) - Edinburgh - £45,000

A leading name within the financial industry is seeking an additional software tester to join their offices in Edinburgh.

The Role:

* Define, maintain and execute functional, system, regression and sanity test cases

* Troubleshoot, isolate and write problem reports, verify bug fixes

* Develop and improve test tools, scripts, and automation tools

* Work on a farm of test servers using the latest virtualisation technologies

Requirements

* Ideally a background in Financial, Banking or similar

* Expertise in Requirement Analysis, Use Case Analysis, Test script development, Test Strategy, Test process, Test case analysis and design, Test Scenarios, Test Plans, Test Management and Defect Management

* Strong Automation experience

* Sound knowledge and experience in End to End System Testing

* Proficient in working with SDLC, STLC, Functional, System, Integration and User Acceptance Testing

* Experience in Regression Testing and maintenance of test script repositories for updates to existing software

* Experienced in Defect tracking tools and Test management tools such as Test Director, Rally, HP Quality Center and JIRA
