6 Month Contract - IT Connect Trainer

Location: Leeds (Travel to London and Manchester part of role)

Start: ASAP

Rate: Up to £325 per day

Job role:

*The purpose of the role is to manage and deliver the Connect Training Strategy. Working with the IT Training team and Tikkit they will have overall responsibility for delivering the training and getting "buy in" from the business. "Buy in" is key as the aim is that working practices and behaviours will change as a result of the project, not simply that people know how to use a new system.

Duties/Responsibilities:

*Refine and deliver the Connect Training Strategy.

*Run a "beauty parade" and select appropriate third party suppliers where appropriate e.g. video and eLearning resources.

*Work with external providers and the IT Training team, managing resource levels to ensure training delivery in line with the project milestones. Manage third parties to ensure effective delivery.

*Manage training delivery.

*Plan and manage an effective training and communications schedule to ensure technical training and "buy in" and changes in behaviour to support the effective use of the changes under Connect

Skills/Experience:

*Experience of working in a law firm

*Experience of designing and delivering training as part of an upgrade to Microsoft Office 2013 or 2010.

*Experience of managing third party training suppliers

*IT or Teaching/Training qualification such as PTLLS, CompTIA CTT, TAP, CIPD or Microsoft Certified Trainer.

*Microsoft Certified Training Accreditation or other vendor certifications such as ECDL to an advanced level

*Experience with a web based and eLearning training environments

*Excellent written and spoken communication skills with an ability to communicate business and technical information to groups with a range of learning abilities

*Ability to identify, plan, design and develop training

*Ability to deliver training and explanations/solutions in a confident and professional manner to Partners and staff of all levels.

*Organisation and time management skills

*High standard of interpersonal skills to gain credibility and maintain positive relationships with staff, Partners and external parties

*Experience of analysing training needs

*Ability to inspire and motivate learners of varying learning styles and abilities
