The Role:

Skyscape work with a number of exciting and often cutting-edge technologies in a fast-moving environment.

With this environment, great automation delivers huge value in both pace and accuracy for our teams and Customers, in turn increasing our capability.

Our automation engineers are responsible for the management platform, scripts, tools and applications that automate, manage and control our infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer and Business-aligned automation and integration of our platforms

- Service management and support of the management platform, tools and services

- Product / solution evaluation and selection for the monitoring platform

Skills and Experience:

- Strong understanding of core infra technologies, e.g. Servers esp. Linux, Networks & Storage

- Operational support of Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems and VMware vSphere, ideally large-scale

- Demonstrable experience of at least one of the following scripting languages:

- VBS

- PowerShell

- Perl

- Python and Ruby.

- Truly at home managing infrastructure at a console / API level

- Curious, tenacious nature, not defeated by technical challenges
