Senior Credit Risk Systems Analyst - Edinburgh - to £45000 - Market leading Financial Services organisation

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with maintaining the credit risk decisioning systems and analysis. This role will support the Risk Decisioning Manager via carrying out a range of technical and analytical activities in line with all relevant process, quality and other requirements, thus ensuring the effective operation of Credit Risk and the wider business.

Role:

To own the development, implementation, monitoring and optimisation of existing customer strategies and policies utilising account segmentation software Triad and Blaze for Own Brands and Co Brands.

Lead the development of a suite of existing customer management information to provide insight into the reasons for historical performance, future forecasts and opportunities for strategy improvement.

Enhance relationships with internal and external partners to ensure accurate and effective execution of business critical strategies.

Support the development of enhanced testing, documentation, monitoring and data storage functionality.

Accountable for the development, monitoring, implementation and on-going evolution of account management strategies ensuring business objectives and budget targets are met. Responsible for working directly with business and operations teams to implement business critical strategy improvements including, but not limited to, credit limit management, pricing, collections, reissue and authorisations.

Responsible for supporting the existing customer management senior manager in maintaining and developing internal and external relationships.

Responsible for standard and ad hoc statistical analysis and reports to measure and monitor the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.

Accountable for the on-time and to specification implementation of strategy changes demonstrating robust testing methodology.

Responsible for the preparation and presentation of reports, management information, presentations and committee papers detailing results of analysis in numerical and graphical formats with associated commentary.

Experience required:

Credit risk analysis experience - credit scoring / credit decision tools/front end strategies/credit decisioning systems, preferably Triad or Blaze

Financial services industry experience preferably

SAS skills - Base, SQL

Excel, SQL and data manipulation skills

Ability to analyse large volumes of complex data

Excellent communication skills -

Stakeholder engagement management
