My client are a multi award winning digital design agency based in the heart of Edinburgh. They are an integrated agency who deliver a broad range of communications and build brands for large clients such as: Border Biscuits, Graham's The Family Dairy, Ryden, National Galleries of Scotland, Scottish Autism and Peter Vardy.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

-Collaborating with creative, technical, and client teams to understand the brand, audience, and business; then scope, plan and develop websites, web based applications, and enhancements to existing sites

- Reviewing and responding to business requirements, review technical designs, review code, and provide technical guidance and hands-­?on development

- Support existing PHP solutions, and provide legacy enhancements

- Work closely with designers to translate their designs to online

- Be comfortable working on fast turnaround projects

In order to be considered for this position you must have the following:

- 3 years+ experience in a web development role

- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and PHP

- Strong knowledge of SQL / MySQL backend website integration

- Multiple years experience with CMS systems such as Drupal and WordPress

- Experience with CSS processors such as SASS or LESS

- Experience with Adobe tools (Photoshop / Fireworks)

For this position, my client are offering a salary in the region of £28-32k + benefits + an attractive holiday scheme. My client are based in Edinburgh so is a perfect commute for anyone in the Edinburgh area.
