SQL Production DBA - Glasgow - £40,000-£50,000

An established and growing financial services organisation based in Glasgow are looking for an experienced Production DBA to join their large and expanding IT department.

The Production DBA will take sole responsibility for the full SQL Estate, with an aim to implement best practice within the development teams in the business as well as performing standard production DBA tasks such as performance tuning & optimisation etc. Within the near future the Production DBA will be required to upgrade the organisations systems, installing the latest version of SQL Server.

The required experience for this position includes;

* Production DBA experience

* SSIS and ETL

* Data migration experience

The desirable skills for this role include;

* Experience in using the full BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)

* Exposure to .Net environments

* A history of working with finance data

* Excellent communication and team working skills
