My client are currently seeking an Avaya skilled Mid-Market 1st/2nd Line Field Services Engineer based in Scotland, with relevant skills / qualifications in Avaya ACM and IP Office and the associated applications and peripherals.

Field Engineer

Job Title - Unified Communications Engineer

Reporting to - Director of Support Services

Department - Support Services Team

Location - Scotland (Central Belt)

Salary - £32,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience (salary negotiable)

Hours - 09.00 to 18.00 with 1 hour for lunch

Job Purpose

Field Maintenance, upgrades and installation of Avaya Aura CM and IP Office, plus some legacy SME systems and associated applications. This will be a blended role of field maintenance, installations, upgrades, moves and changes and some remote Technical Support.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years installation and maintenance experience on Avaya Aura CM and IP Office systems. Experience on any other legacy systems such as Nortel BCM, Norstar, Panasonic, Siemens ISDX and Hipath or any other additional telephony/IT products an advantage.

General SME legacy experience on products such as:

Nortel BCM/Norstar

Siemens ISDX Hipath

Mitel SX22000/3300

Main Responsibilities

*Field maintenance and installation of Avaya Aura CM telephone systems and associated applications.

*Field maintenance of some legacy SME products such as BCM, Norstar, Hipath, Panasonic.

*Timely response and rectification of reported incidents.

*Software upgrades

*Provide Technical Support to colleagues and customers

*Participation of 24 hour call out rota

*Sales support and assistance as required

*Completion of Sales Audits

*Completion of Additional Works Audits

*Ability to carry out moves and Changes remotely and on-site

*Ability to work occasional weekends as required

*Core Hours - 9.00am - 6.00pm
