INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT / DESIGNER

Location: South East London / willing to travel is a must

Salary: GBP 50,000 / GBP 80,000 depending on experience

Key Employment Requirements:

* Graduate with a 2:1 degree or above.

* 5+ years relevant consultancy experience demonstrating a strong track record in advising clients on how technology can enable wider business transformation.

* Broad understanding of business issues, with in/depth knowledge of one or more relevant sectors (Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, Manufacturing, Public Sector, Health and Diversified).

* Good knowledge of currency technology trends (Mobility, Big Data, Cloud, Cyber and Next Generation Apps) and the business benefits that can be derived from these.

* Experience in shaping and delivering consulting offerings.

* Experience working with appropriate methods and tools, e.g.CSC Catalyst, TOGAF and/or equivalent client or vendor/mandated methodologies.

* Experience of working in sizeable technology transformation project teams, ideally with evidence of ability to lead and manage a workstream/ engagement team.

* Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills with emphasis on presentational skills.

* Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity.

* Excellent analytical skills.

* Good network of industry contacts.

* Must be UK or EU passport holder / NO TEMPORARY VISAS (required for work in BAE Systems).

* Must be willing to travel.

Key Capabilities:

* Experienced "semi" technical (CCNA, MCSE, possibly MCSA qualified in the last 5 years), senior (manager and above) level

* Must have good technical knowledge and experience in managing / setting up:

* Data centres,

* SAN's (including stretched SANs),

* Mixed environment Server / mini / mainframe estates,

* Virtual environments (especially Physical to Virtual programmes of work),

* MPLS / WANs,

* BGP / High Availability,

* DR, * Mobile Working technologies / MDM,

* SSO, * Database systems (Oracle, MS SQL),

* Middleware (e.g. WebSphere etc.),

* Unix/Linux operating systems,

* SIEM systems etc.

* Has in/depth experience in Information Security (specifically ISO27001 compliance / implementation), and ITIL V3 (at least Practitioner but ideally Intermediate, Expert or Master)

* Responsibility for IT strategy, roadmaps, innovation, technology and digital transformation including application and infrastructure road mapping

* Cloud / especially implementation of Cloud / xAAS integration into a mixed and homogenous environments (in house, outsourced and mixes thereof)

* Experience in successful implementation of SIAM ways of working

* Excellent supplier / 3rd party engagement / including contract SLA's and performance management

* SLA/ OLA alignment with Business Objectives and vision

* ISO 20000 trained and certified / ideally minimum professional and above level (associate, Executive Consultant/Manager and Auditor)
