Senior Support Specialist - Murex

An opportunity has arisen to join a Global leader within banking finance as a Senior Support Specialist.

Working within this Global bank, you the Senior Support Specialist will be helping drive their core tenant of making Technology push their vision and strategic agenda. As the Senior Support Specialist, you will help improve the skills and flexibility of their people and work effectively with their internal stakeholders and external partners. This role will focus on work within a server side database support.

Within this structure, the Senior Support Specialist will be considered the subject matter expert for BAU and project work, ensuring the stability of Derivatives Production Environment. Therefor you the Senior Support Specialist will need to have strong experience with Murex, Linux/UNIX, SQL, scripting, Perl and Batch management.

Along with working BAU Production Support Requests, you the Senior Support Specialist will be involved with incident/change/problem/release management and help drive automation improvements that will lead to greater efficiencies within the team.

Key skills:

Strong record of accomplishment within Production Support within a Banking and Finance arena

Murex, preferably 3.1

Experience with Linux/UNIX, SQL, Sybase, Oracle, Shell Scripting, Python

Experience with FM trading, preferably within Derivatives
