Consultant - Senior Manager - Forensic Analysis and Technology

Level Dependent Salary: £30,000 - £85,000 + competitive package + bonus

Central London + Travel

If you're looking for an interesting next step in career, moving into a leading consultancy's Forensic team could be an interesting next step for you. Joining a growing team you would utilise your Business Intelligence and Analytical skills to undertake a wide range of fraud, corruption and regulatory investigations. On top of that you would work to help clients pro-actively identify and adress related challenges in a variety of industries.

THE COMPANY/TEAM

On top of an impressive brand name, the team are known to be social and collaborative. With projects seldom lasting over a month, and a good balance with London based work they put a large focus on work/life balance. In terms of role, the team collates, reviews and analyses large and disparate datasets to detect issues and any potential anomalies and reporting on it's findings. What more they then build innovative solutions to compliance and risk issues and provide specialist services more widely.

The team are made of consultants from varying different backgrounds, what they look for is the right mentality and an interest in the type of work they do. They then combine their skills and experiences to find new way to solve clients complex challenges.

THE ROLE

Dependent on level, your responsibility will increase in regards to managing client projects and mentoring team members, however you can expect generally the following:

* Working with clients and other project stakeholders to understand their requirements

* Delivering analytical work, either individually or leading a small team of junior colleague

* Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of your work by performing tests and preparing quality control documentation

* Using your experience to identify and propose new solutions to client problems and assist with developing them

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Consultant's up to Senior Managers will have the following skills and experience:

* Educated to a degree level in a numerate discipline (maths, statistics, physics etc)

* Proven ability to independetly query, analyse and interpret data from a wide variety of information systems

* Business focused understanding, evaluating outcome of work in a commercially minded way

* Strong experience in a technical discipline with one or a number of the following:

* Data Analysis (SQL, SAS, R, Matlab)

* Database Design/Development (SQL Server ideally)

* Reporting/Visualisation (SSRS, Tableau, Qlikview)

* Scripting/Programming (C#, VB.net, Java, Python)

* Advanced Analytics (text analytics, concept searching, machine learning, clustering)
