A Senior IT Project Manager with logistics / supply chain experience is required to be part of the business-facing team delivering a range of IT solutions to customers.

Working within the Project Services Team, you should be able to demonstrate skill, experience and competence in the following areas:

- Project Management

- Systems implementation management

- Business and systems analysis and design

Key responsibilities will include:

- Taking a leading role in the definition, documentation and successful completion of IT projects ranging in size and complexity.

-Working with our supply chain operations, software partners and IT teams to capture and analyse requirements to design and deliver effective IT solutions.

-Assisting in the implementation of supply chain systems into new and existing businesses from initial design and documentation through to successful installation, training and review.

-Working closely with Senior IT and Operational Management to manage a strategic programme of work for their particular business division.

-Travel is required to client sites on an adhoc basis.

You will be an IT Project Manager from a relevant background (e.g. logistics, retail, manufacturing, etc.) The most important thing is that you can demonstrate accelerated career progression within Project Management to date and strive to achieve further career success in a client facing Project Management role.

The following skills, attributes and experience are required:

- Experience of IT Project Management and Business/Systems Analysis.

- Proven ability in leading significant and challenging projects in the successful delivery of IT-enabled business process solutions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate efficiently at all stakeholder levels.

- Drive and enthusiasm for identifying and delivering effective solutions.

- Ambition and potential to move into strategic programme management roles in the future.

- A relevant industry qualification - e.g. ISEB Certificate in Project Management, Prince2 Practitioner, APMP, etc.

- Experience of delivering successful solutions for supply chain operations / logistics, particularly warehouse and/or transport management, would be highly desirable.

- Excellent customer facing skills.
