Network Engineer - Contract - London - (Cisco, CCNA, CCNP, juniper)

A Network Engineer is required on a contract basis for a financial services company based in the City of London. The infrastructure team are looking for an additional resource to join a very busy project pipeline that is lined up for the end of this year and to carry on into the new year, this role will be to support BAU systems and support the continued growth of the company.

This requirement is for a hands on engineer to work on a variety of projects. As the specialist network engineer you will have extensive experience of Cisco technologies such as; Juniper, Nexus, LAN and WAN as well as having Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP). This role will not have any design or architectural responsibilities and will be working solely on supporting the existing network. As the Network Engineer you will also be responsible for Network Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancing, VLANS, Wireless, VPN.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team within an established financial services company on an initial 6 month contract with the view for the project to carry on well into next year. This role will be paying between £450-500 a day dependant on knowledge and experience. As this is working for a financial services company previous experience of this sector is desired however would not be essential.
