Java Developer in Test (Jbehave, Selenium, SOAP, JSON)

A great opportunity for Java Engineers to join a market leading technology company as Developer in Test, based in Central London

As Developer in Test you will be responsible for developing the Automation testing frameworks and maintaining existing Java/Selenium Frameworks. You will work closely with project teams adding new features and maintaining a suite of automated software test scripts

Working in a fast paced environment, responsibilities will include taking ownership and maintenance of the projects software testing tools and environments and improving the Automation framework. You will be installing and configuring test environments using a mix of real and virtual environments, defining Automation test cases to validate the functionality, performance, stability and scalability of the project, and mentoring the team on Automation best practices

Essential skills and Qualifications

*Hands on coding experience with core Java

*Exposure to BDD/TDD techniques - Jbehave

*In-depth Knowledge of Selenium(WD/Grid) - UI scripting, API scripting etc

*Experience of implementing Automated testing as part of a CD/CI Environment-GIT/Jenkins

*Previous Experience in Testing and Automating Webservices-SOAP and REST - JSON and XML

*Back end Testing knowledge-Unix, Mongo, SQL

*Strong Agile development practices

*Ability to quickly build credible good relationships with managers, Devs and other stakeholders.

Salary up to £45,000 plus a good benefits package.
