Deployment Delivery Lead - Telecoms.

Lead objective:

* The primary function of this role is to lead the delivery management function for a specific customer project of considerable complexity and scope in conjunction with the Delivery Assurance Leads.

* Ensure best in class Delivery Management methodology is applied to all project delivery initiatives to ensure projects are delivered to the committed time, cost, scope and quality for a tier one customer across all competence areas within Network Deployment in conjunction with other Service Delivery Units.

* To act as the Senior Delivery Lead across the team providing technical support, direction and guidance to all members of the team as required by your manager, thereby contributing to the overall delivery of the team's objectives. Take overall technical and functional responsibility for a group of Delivery Management Leads.

* Demonstrate continuous improvement across all aspects of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Lead objectives:

* Lead for a single customer project delivery that has network deployment involvement. Ensure scope and costs are clearly managed and that change requests/scope creep/upsell opportunities are clearly highlighted.

* Ensure relevant metrics and KPIs are in place to ensure transparent visibility of all aspects of delivery performance when receiving from the Delivery Assurance Leads.

* Take end to end ownership of projects from a Delivery Management perspective to ensure the project is delivered to agreed scope and quality criteria using best in class methodology and processes.

* Measure and monitor delivery in conjunction with Delivery Governance, taking necessary corrective action in conjunction with the Delivery Assurance Leads.

* Work closely with peers across the organisation to manage requirements, resources and total delivery costs against the commitment.

* Act as key interface to ND/PMO organisation for project delivery & reporting requirements.

Requirements

Technical Competencies

* A functional and technical lead with a broad understanding of mobile networks who has ideally had experience in a specific discipline within a Managed Services environment.

* Strong experience and track record in delivery management and associated methodologies.

* Experienced in costing activities and supporting the definition of business cases

* Thorough understanding of company policy, organisational set up, procedures and systems across departments and the wider business interfaces.

* Ability to efficiently organise resources from disparate areas in a matrix managed delivery environment as well as take on technical and functional lead responsibility for Delivery Assurance resources
