My Client is currently looking for a Head of Operations to help manage a team and a process and bring Orthapeadic products to the market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing, packaging and regulatory aspect of product development. They will be required to help write technical documents and also manage the project to completion to fit a time scale and budget.

The Ideal candidate will be running a small team of 4 who will report directly to the Ops Manager.

Ideal Candidates will have:

.Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) - Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Composite etc. with experience in areas such as Automation, Computer Science, Electronics.

.ISO 13485

.Substantial R&D Project Management Experience: Planning, Leadership and Direction, Client Relationship Management, Internal & External Alignment, Resource Management, Financial & Budget Management, Communication, Process Orientation, PMO Experience, Methodology & Frameworks, Operational & Long Term Thinking, Risk Management.

.Experience working with medical devices that involve electromechanical and software components.

.Knowledge/exposure to Regulatory and/or FDA requirements or Design Control for Medical Devices (either consumable or serialized).

.Experience with PDL (Product Development Lifecycle) utilizing a stage gated approach. Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

.Understanding of Manufacturing and CGMP (Certified Good Manufacturing Practices).
