C++ Developer / Senior C++ Software Engineer (UNIX Algorithm Finance Mathematics MSc / PhD). Exceptional C++ Developer sought by Chicago based proprietary trading firm to join their UK operation in the City. You'll design, develop and implement trading models, execution algorithms and front end user interfaces working autonomously and in close conjunction with Front Office traders.

As a C++ Developer you'll join an intellectual and talented team, most staff are educated to MSc or PhD level. You'll utilise your knowledge of financial markets, algorithms and mathematics to carry out transaction cost analysis and alpha signal testing.

Requirements:

*Advanced C++ development skills

*Experience in a UNIX environment, shell scripting

*Strong SQL

*Degree educated, minimum 2.1 - ideally Computer Science, MSc / PhD advantageous but not essential

*Excellent communication skills, pragmatic and confident

*Broad knowledge of financial markets / trading

As a senior C++ Developer you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to £150k, negotiable) plus significant bonus.
