3 ESG Project Managers needed - London and Milton Keynes

3 ESG Project Managers needed for a role based in London and Milton Keynes. The contract is 5 months long looking for a max rate of 540 per day.

New infrastructure is being deployed in CSC datacentres to implement several technical capabilities that will enable the migration of Business Services from an incumbent managed service provider to CSC. The programme has multiple work streams which will deliver the various capabilities. The emphasis is on network connectivity in a secure operating environment.

A Project Manager is required to manage the deployment and testing of assigned technology capabilities into the Production environment and manage the migration of Business Services that are reliant on those capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

* Development of detailed task plans, sourcing of required resources, engagement with sub-contract suppliers, manage and report progress against the plan

* Management of all activities to deploy technical capabilities to the Production environment including build, test and Operational Readiness Review

* Deliver contracted scope and tightly manage change against the agreed baseline

* Development of detailed migration plans and gaining approval from applicable stakeholders

* Management of all pre-migration activities required for go / no-go gate reviews including pre-migration testing, service readiness, agreeing outages, gaining approvals for changes

* Managing very tightly controlled execution of Business Service migrations against detailed run book steps ensuring no unplanned service outages

* Management of all post-migration activities required for handover to Business As Usual support operations including post-migration testing, test completion reports, Early Life Support

Experience:

* Extensive IT project management experience including datacentre deployments, application and data migration, testing, service transition planning, release and configuration management

* Experience of managing technical transition projects with a network emphasis, ideally including DNS, firewall, IP, MQ IPT, routing, secure internet and B2B gateways

* Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, including suppliers and third parties

* Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills

* Business services: End User internet access, cyber security, external email, B2B authenticated access, Electronic Supplier Interface, VPN tunnels, externally facing websites, remote access to IT domain, FTP/sFTP

* Products & technologies: Nexus, Bluecoat, F5, Forum Sentry, Cisco Ironport, Checkpoint, Bentley Projectwise, Oracle Access Manager, Citrix Netscaler, Microsoft Lync, Active Sync, Virtual Servers, Forward & Reverse Proxy, Cloud, SSL VPN, DNS, MQ IPT
