Project Manager (Software Development) - 12 Months Contract

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

Headquartered in London, the company a market leader in the betting and gaming sector requires a Project Manager with extensive hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and issue management to join its Feltham based team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Working with internal and external stakeholders including offshore software teams, you will be responsible for delivering a range of software development projects as part of a programme of work, including end to end delivery project evaluation and close down.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience of delivering customer facing software development projects within JIRA and Agile environments and will possess a formal Project Management certification.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a range of concurrent projects for multiple customer accounts

* Works closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).

* Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestone schedules, project estimates, and resource allocation plans

* Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).

* Manage project risks and issues and maintain relevant records for review with wider project and account teams

* Conduct project status meetings to ensure accurate, timely and efficient resolution of project issues

* Coordinate and manage all communications across multiple departments (including the Account Management, Product Development, Customer Support and Technology teams) related to client projects

* Providing internal teams with written status updates, meeting minutes and other relevant project communications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential

* Substantial project management experience

* Hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and issue management

* Experience in working in matrix managed organisations including the ability to influence indirect reports and stakeholders from other departmental teams

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities including balancing needs of disparate stakeholder groups

* Evidence of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and delivering projects on time and to the correct levels of quality

* Ability to travel domestically (infrequent travel to our Manchester office may be required)

* Preferred

* A formal Project Management certification (e.g. Prince2, PMP)

* Experience of delivering customer facing software development projects

* Experience with JIRA and Agile development environments

* Experience working in gaming/gambling would be an advantage
