We are are looking to develop our team with the addition of Project Manager who has worked within the IT sector, the role will be responsible for delivering major IT projects to time, quality and budget, working with in-house and external development teams in a fast moving environment.

The Role

Maintain a repository of knowledge around the project/ system, both for IT colleagues and materials for the business, including training collateral. The function will also need to ensure that the business is kept up to date with developments across the finance systems landscape.

- Define and execute appropriate project governance in line with easyJet standards

- Management of stakeholders up to Board Level

- Gaining approval for project spend. Ensure a business case exists with sufficient justification for undertaking and continuing with the project

- Working closely with business owners to establish business cases.

- Tracking / monitoring project progress throughout its lifecycle within time, cost and quality constraints.

- Produce regular highlight reports to provide adequate visibility into actual project progress.

- Provide IT expertise specifically within the delivery of new or enhanced solutions

Key skills

- Delivering of large-scale projects from working collaboratively with internal business functions and external teams of the following:

- Working with commercial, direct and in-direct teams consisting of Solution Scoping, Build Management, Manage Supplier / Vendors and People Management

- Strong project planning experience - ability to identify who needs to be involved, taking into account the availability of others, dependencies between tasks etc.

- Proficiency working within project management frameworks (Governance, Project Board and Process & Procedures)

- A successful proven track record of delivering IT projects to time, cost and quality in a multi-channel landscapes

- Stakeholder management up to board level - ability to influence key stakeholders by ensuring workflows are carried out to completion concisely

- Proficiency translating business requirements into technical solutions

- Experience leading a team of 3 or more business analysts and project managers

- Highly competent working within Software Development environments (preferably .Net)

- ITIL, PRINCE2 or MSP qualification

- Competence in the use of Microsoft Project

- Exceptional business case experience, including cost/benefit analysis

- Able to clearly prioritise, manage resources and establish team goals.

Desirable Skills

- Airline sector and/or Retail experience

- Knowledge of analysis and development techniques e.g. SCRUM, Agile & Waterfall

- Prototyping solutions using appropriate tools (e.g. html, excel, pen and paper!)

- A good knowledge and understanding of total cost ownership of IT assets and functions
