£30,000 per annum + Benefits

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Test Analyst to join a leading, dynamic organisation within the Financial Sector in Birmingham. Within this role you will get to work on a variety of Business and Technical focussed projects, testing delivered solutions and BAU changes. You will also be commercially aware and support User Acceptance Test performed by other remote Testing Teams.

It is essential that Test Analysts have:

- 3 years’ commercial experience of hands-on Testing within the Financial Services, Life and Pensions or Financial Regulatory Work

- Excellent experience working through all Test phases covering the Analysis of Business and Technical documentation, identify requirements, planning and creating - - Test Scripts, Execution and liaising with developers to resolve issues

- Strong experience creating Test Reports to identify progress and raise any issues to Test Lead or Project Manager and provide estimates for future projects

- A wealth of experience using your excellent communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and in conjunction with other teams; Also have experience of working individually

- Good knowledge of appropriate formal techniques and methodologies as well as an understanding of the development lifecycle

- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with Project Members, Business Users, Managers and Third Party organisations

It would be beneficial for Test Analysts to have:

- An ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing or similar

Experience of testing Systems or Platforms based on Oracle or SQL Server

- Experience of Testing UNIX environments and/or VB Front End Applications
