Technical Data Architect, Insurance, Contract, London

Technical Data Architect is required by a client of mine based within an insurance firm based in the city of London.

As the technical data architect you will be providing architectural leadership in information models and implementing standards and data governance across a data warehousing team. You will also be required to define the data dictionaries and profiling correct data from either SQL or SAS systems.

This specific data warehousing team which is a key pillar of the client have already built their data warehouse however they are looking to define the standards and tailor it to become a more smarter/cleaner system.

As the technical data architect you will be key to ensuring the data architecture meets the functional and non-functional requirements and that it is managed correctly in terms of data governance.

This is a 6 month rolling contract at market rates up to £650pd.

Essential Skills:

* Proven Technical Data Architecture across financial systems within regulated environments

* Architectural background in data governance and implementation of standards

* Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL server and being able to produce T-SQL code.

* Strong ability to work with various teams and engaging with stakeholders.
