DevOps Engineer - Edinburgh - Excellent RatesThe DevOps engineer will join a renowned large named company working with other DevOps team members to ensure that all our servers perform optimally and our development process run as smoothly as possible.Responsibilities
Helping to support AWS servers and services.Attending to Jenkins continuous integration servers and procedures.Looking after and optimising our deployment scripts and processes.Contributing to the management and maintenance of LANs and WANs.
Essential characteristics and experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience in setting up and managing AWS instances and services.Deep knowledge and expertise of Linux (Ubuntu preferably) command shell.Background in python development, leveraging python for automation.Experience in configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible.Experience in continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or similar.Deep knowledge and understanding of IT in general.Basic working knowledge of SQL.
