Data Analyst, £450pd, Banking, Glasgow

Data Analyst is required by a reputable banking client of mine based in Glasgow.

The team is looking to fill the requirement of a data analyst that will work alongside the data and analytics team to help define data lineage and data flow for management information. As the data analyst, you will also have experience in working within regulated financial environments and have a strong background in end data flow as well as metadata.

As the Data Analyst, you will be joining an expanding analytics team this year as they are looking for someone who can start immediately to help with their project teams. As the data analyst you will be working closely with the team to work either individually or within projects to deliver high quality, clear and accurate current state management information to the teams within agreed timescales. You will also have input in to the business solutions including analysis solutions as well.

This role is a 3 month rolling contract at a maximum day rate of £450pd

Essential Skills:

A strong background within Data Analysis and ability to investigate data quality issues to root cause

Proven understanding of data lineage and end to end data flow

Strong understanding of Metadata

Ability to work either on your own or within project teams.

Financial services background within banking is highly desirable.
