A talented web designer is required to join this market leading technology business. The successful candidate will be part of a growing and talented Marketing team.

Your job role will include designing and building landing pages, company branding assets & creating marketing materials for their email marketing and social campaigns. You will work with a team of experienced web designers who will offer support on all aspects of the job.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate and contribute with senior designers and other teams on projects of all sizes ranging from brand and marketing collateral through to front end and back end pages design.

- Involvement in the design, coding, and testing of Powershop/ front end web pages - including but not limited to landing pages, 3rd party landing pages, feature pages and careers updates.

- Designing and coding Powershop email marketing material- be it for feature release, newsletter, or content for 3rd parties.

- Liaising with the content marketing team and designing content for Powershop's social media channels and blog.

- Be responsible for keeping up to date with modern web technologies and design trends

- Take ownership of corporate social responsibility design projects (Including but not limited to sponsorship and charity design work)

- Project management using web based project management application Trello

Skills & Requirements:

- A strong portfolio showing a range of design creativity and coding structure

- Well aware of current online design trends

- Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator

- You have a good understanding of HTML/CSS

- You'll be happy working as part of a team and self managing your work load

- You're a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail

- Basic understanding of Javascript / JQuery

- Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3

- Strong creative flair

- Strong passion for web design

Desirable Skills:

- Revision / Version control (mercurial, tortoiseHG)

- Designing for print, logo design, brochure, flyer, poster.

- A/B split testing knowledge

- User interface Design

- Experience with CSS pre-processing (Less or SASS)

- Branding Experience
