Test Analyst

Our client, financial services organisation is looking for a Test Analyst to work on a project based in Edinburgh for 6 Months

Key Deliverable:

* Develop test cases and conditions that will verify delivery of the business requirements and business processes, and perform full traceability / mapping of the business requirements/processes through to the functional solution and/or test artefacts.

* Create test scripts; source and prepare test data; create a Test Execution Schedule, and perform UAT Testing.

* Ensure that defects are clearly and concisely documented in the Defect Management System and are effectively retested upon receipt of fixes.

* Work closely with the Test Manager and project team to ensure compliance with departmental testing methods and standards.

* Identify and report testing risks and issues, assisting where appropriate in the discharge of actions arising.

* Ensure that all test documentation is produced, maintained and correctly stored and detailed test plans are maintained, in line with established control procedures.

* Assist in the creation/ maintenance of UAT regression packs, using automation as appropriate

* Submit accurate and timely status and progress reports to the Test Manager in line with project / testing governance

Required Skills:

* UAT Testing experience

* Banking / Financial Services experience essential

* UAT/Business Testing

* Good stakeholder management
