Graduate Software Engineer - C++ / C#

This is an immediate requirement for a Graduate Software Engineer or Junior Software Engineer with experience of working in C++ and C#.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Software Engineer to work for a leading Controls and Automation design company in the Aberdeen area. This Graduate Software Engineer role will be working on developing software used to provide real time data to a range of external clients across several industries. JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities for this role

- The work involves the requirements gathering with the customer, design responsibility, programming, testing, documentation and commissioning of the projects.

- Knowledge of and experience with a Real Time Data Historian would be an asset, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Requirements for this role

- Graduate with a degree in Computing or Science related subjects which have a significant element of computer programming in relevant languages.

- Willingness to travel to customer sites throughout the UK and possibly overseas.

- Practical experience in C++, C#

- Experience using Real Time Historians

- Experience using Control Systems

- UK Driving Licence

- Clear logical approach to problem solving

- Confident and ambitious

- Effective communicator
