Business Analyst / Solution Designer

I am currently working with a leading financial services organisation who are looking to recruit a Solutions Designer/Business Analyst for a 3 month contract. The main duties of the role will be:

* Work with the business stakeholders often in various locations

* Iteratively discover requirements and design innovative solutions

* Iteratively guide developers on the functionality that needs to be delivered

* Call into daily stand-ups to discuss progress and raise challenges

* Manage and document project progress through online collaboration tools

* Create process maps

* Utilise Visio and complete requirements documentation.

* Look at the best way to solve problems and attend whiteboard workshops and problem solve in an agile manner.

* Documenting solution for developers to build solutions

Ideally applicants will have the following:

* Finance and/or tax experience essential

* Extensive experience of agile software delivery

* Business analyst training and experience

* Solution design experience for web applications in a finance or tax context

* Strong understanding of business processes and data flows

* Positive, energetic, can-do attitude

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Please note that there are flexible working practices offered e.g. Leeds office with work from home 2 days a week and travel to London is expected for one day per week.
