Our vision is to make Lloyds Banking Group the best bank for customers. As the UK's largest retail and commercial bank, we have a footprint that touches nearly every community and household in the UK. That gives us a big responsibility to support the UK economy, and to put customers at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this, we also need to be the best bank for our colleagues and our communities - and we have a clear strategy in place to make this a reality. We are building on our many strengths: iconic brands, strong heritages and great people. To unlock the great potential in our business, we are becoming more efficient, more transparent, and more responsive to customers. Already the UK's largest community investor, we are giving even more back. Above all, we are putting customers first.

The Group has approximately 40% of the nation's domestic payments passing through it's systems, processing tens of billions in value on a daily basis. And our Payments & Cards IT teams are at the heart of it all as we strive to become the best bank for customers.

Recent Government legislation means we are looking to further protect our customers and colleagues through 'ring fencing' our organisation which has resulted in a number of challenging business and technical projects that require end-to-end management.

Ideally based in Edinburgh you'd join an experienced team of Payments Project Managers and work on major, 2 year, multi-million pound project liaising with business customers, and managing offshore resource partners and multiple IT platform owners from concept stage to delivery which will gradually realise the ring-fenced bank.

It's a role that matters.

We'll need you to have gained technical Project Management experience within a similar large-sized organisation and be adept across Planning, Resources, Risk and Issue management (e.g RAID logs), Stakeholder Management, Finance and Project-Reporting disciplines.

Having a recognised project management qualification (Prince 2, APMP etc) would be useful as would any previous experience in the payments arena but we'll be particularly looking for you to evidence managing end-to-end solutions on projects of approximately £3m in value.

And in return, we'll recognise and reward your performance with a benefits package that includes a bonus, car/allowance, generous pension contribution and a flex benefit scheme that allows you to choose cash or pick from a wide range of benefits to suit your lifestyle.

So if joining us on some key Projects sounds appealing and you've the background and experience we're seeking then get in touch, we'd like to hear from you…
