Central Infrastructure Services (CIS) are accountable for the core infrastructure that provides over 30 million customers with resilient, highly available services supporting Critical Business processes through our key customer facing channels - digital, telephony, payments and branch.

It comprises of one of the largest IT infrastructure estates in Europe providing the design, provision, build, support and maintenance of several hardware platforms and associated operating system software stacks and services.

We're currently looking for a CICS System Programmer who can plan, control and monitor a range of services and initiatives, present customised solutions to meet business requirements and ensure projects follow strategic business direction.

You'll need to be capable of communicating complex information and ideas to both technical and non technical audiences.

As well as having the detailed technical knowledge, you'll also have strong analytical skills and experience in leading technical projects. We'll need you to be part of our on call rota and work out of hours. As recognition of this an out of hours allowance will be paid.
