IT Project Manager - Glasgow - 3 month contract / £300 - £330 per day

Spring Technology is looking for an IT Project Manager to fulfil a contract with a Public Sector client in Glasgow. The role will be responsible for managing a project which will successfully implement a new digital solution in the client's facilities, you will be responsible for implementing the system and managing the interactions between the external vendor and in-house teams (including developers and a DBA). You will have a demonstrable background in the successful delivery of software projects and will have exceptional 3rd party / vendor management experience. To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Essential skills:

*Extensive experience as a Project Manager delivering software implementations and change management projects

*PRINCE2, ITIL and any other equivalent relevant project management / analysis qualifications (PMP, BCS etc.)

*3rd party / vendor management experience

*Delivering projects to agreed budgets, timeframes and standards

*Developing and maintaining project plans

*Managing multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable skills:

*Degree in Computer Science

*Previous experience working in Public Sector

*Business analysis knowledge
